Technical & Regulatory Consultant — Quality Systems, Standards & Software

Chemist and former air-force fuel & chemistry department head, now consulting across laboratory accreditation, standards analysis, and compliance-automation software.

About

I'm an independent technical and regulatory consultant based in Israel. A chemist by training (BSc, Hebrew University of Jerusalem), I previously led the Israeli Air Force's Fuel & Chemistry Department — the professional authority for the quality of aviation fuels and petroleum products. My work bridges three areas that rarely sit with one person: hands-on laboratory quality systems, the analysis and harmonization of technical standards, and the software engineering used to automate compliance. I help laboratories, industrial and energy organizations, and standards bodies turn complex requirements into practical, well-documented systems.

Focus areas

  • Laboratory Quality & Accreditation

ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and renewal, quality manuals and test instructions, audit response and corrective action, impartiality and risk management.

  • Standards & Regulatory Analysis

Comparative analysis and harmonization of technical standards (ASTM, SII, EU), regulatory amendment drafting, and decision-grade policy briefings.

  • Environmental & Analytical Methods

PFAS analytical methods (EPA, ISO) mapped to regulation, contaminated-soil and hazardous-materials sampling, method matrices.

  • Compliance Automation & Requirements Engineering

Normative requirements modeled as structured rules; BPMN/DMN process modeling, Drools rules, Java/Quarkus data models, n8n workflows.

  • Cloud-Native & DevOps

Self-hosted Kubernetes (k3s), Docker, Linux, CI/CD, and infrastructure for research and automation pipelines.

  • Research & Data Pipelines

Literature meta-analysis pipelines (OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, Crossref), data cleaning and synthesis, PRISMA-style outputs.

Selected projects

  • Requirements Compliance Automation Model (RCAM)

A system that turns ISO/IEC 17025 requirements into machine-actionable form: requirements extracted as subject–predicate pairs, modeled as BPMN processes and Drools rules, with generated XSD schemas and data models.

    Private repository

  • Self-Hosted Kubernetes on Bare Metal

Hardened a bare-metal server and ran a k3s cluster on it (gateway, TLS via cert-manager/Let's Encrypt, private registry, automation services).

  • Sustainable-Fuels Research Meta-Analysis Pipeline

A pipeline analyzing ML/AI applications in sustainable-fuel research across OpenAlex, Semantic Scholar, and Crossref, with automated classification and PRISMA-style outputs.

  • Equipment-Rental Web App

A full-stack web application for equipment rental.
